About Our School

An Indigenous-led culinary training institution built on a legacy of catering and hospitality excellence in Saskatchewan.

Our Story

Training by Industry, for Industry

The Athabasca Catering Group of Companies offers a Culinary Arts training program focused on developing Indigenous talent for Saskatchewan's hospitality industry. Our new state-of-the-art teaching kitchen is located in downtown Saskatoon, on LLRIB's upcoming Urban Reserve.

The program runs two intakes per calendar year, with twelve students per cohort. Graduating students earn accreditation for Saskatchewan Apprenticeship's Level 1 for the Cook Trade.

Our SATCC-approved curriculum is supplied by North West College, and our hands-on instruction is led by an experienced Red Seal Instructor and Program Lead. Every student who walks through our doors receives training designed for real kitchens — from restaurant lines to catering operations.
